This projects top priority was to open up the space, and to make the kitchen bigger so the client could entertain. We removed the wall between the kitchen and family room, which allowed us to add a large island! Adding an island in a kitchen is always a great way to add storage and counter space. The white painted cabinets pop with the black hardware, black farmhouse sink, and black metal wall hood. We love the built in coffee maker this client chose to incorporate. The homeowner really wanted to incorporate wood beams into her kitchen. We love how the beams add some warmth to the space. This kitchens aesthetic gives off farmhouse with a little glitz!
